Cold Snow

 

This morning I went to see the snow from the school pool party.

there was only a little bit of snow left .

I held a piece in my hand it was very cold.

My Fish

I went to the fish and feed them they were hiding in The green water and they wood sneek up to get some food. 

Learning to use Clicker

Today I have been using my Clicker device to make sentences.

I did this on my own, my story was about monsters!

In the weekend I go to Taupo bay in the car to the park. I played on the swings. I went for a walk on the beach

Horse riding on a Wednesday

On Wednesday's I go to horse riding with Gran. I wear a hat to protect my head. My horse's name is Jellybean. I give Jellybean a hug and I brush her. Horse riding is fun!

Money 💰 maths

Today I learnt to identify money , I sorted it into groups and learnt what each note and coin was called.

I liked that all the notes have birds on them, I like the $20 and the $5 the best.

My Holiday

 In the holidays i go to kaitaia and mum and dad get pizza from pizza hut and mcdonalds.  i went to farmers i got a toy.  mum brot me a care bear and on its tummy is colour red and it has a heart on its tummy.  

Cross Country. I ran in the cross country at Oruaiti School. Mum came to se me run.

My new calf 

My cow had a new calf. It came out of the paddock.

 He dropped out of his mum. 

 

 

 

Fish

Today I got some fish, I had to clean the stones to go into there tank

Once the tank was ready I put the fish in the tank ,I named my fish cindy and Harra

But then at lunch time I thew one of my fish out of the window, it might die now, My class friends are sad.

I am learning to write similes.   

As cute as a kitten .

As happy as a clam .

Large numbers

 Today I identified and sorted numbers into order from 100 to 115.

I then wrote out lots of numbers and asked Hannah to guess what the number was like she always makes me do.

it was my turn to be the teacher today.

Spring

 Mole and the dog  are my favourite patchwork pals.

Today I drew mole. He is a silver grey colour wth pink patches.  I like dogs so dog is one of my favourite patchwork pals.

the two twins Sahara and Summer are girls. They have curly hair and they look the same .

Xaviers maths using Numicon

I use my numicon for addition, I can count on using numicon and subtract using numicon.

I use my numicon to see how many diffrent ways I can make ten, I also like the diffrent colours.

I have work sheets that have maths problems on them and I use the numicon to help me work out the anwser.

Today I made a post about my lego farm. I had 1 pig and six sheep. And zoe helped me build the animals.And there was a water fountain so the animals could drink the water. Ther animals names were Zoe,Xavier,Rainbow,Georgie,Lisa and Leah.

Xavier's Chicken story

At my house pachwork pals chickens eggs chicks.
At my house Gran and Popoopy feed the chickens. There are 16 chicken the chickens are white.

Today with Georgie I made a goggle map of New Zealand!
My map has blue for the ocean and green for land.

Lego creation

Xavier enjoyed building with lego today, inside his lego building are hidden pieces.

School tryathlon

Back when we were at school we had a tryathlon on the bottom field.  All the kids had to cycle for 2 laps, then swim 2 laps of the pool and lastly run 2 laps of the bottom field.

I ran on the race on the bottom field.  Everyone clapped when I finished.

PASSION PROJECT:

Pest Control

we are putting out mice and rats traps by the farm

they can hurt our native animals

we cut out plastic bottles to put over the top of the trap to keep our chickens and dogs safe

then my dad nails it to the grass so it does not move

we have not got any mice or rats yet

our bait heaps getting taken 4 days in a row my dad thinks we need better traps 

we check every morning and night

it was in the garden at night time

today we put 3 more traps by the hay shed

we got 3 more mice today

2 from outside the back of the cottage 

1 from grands house out the back by the garden

3 + 1 = 4 

we have got 4 now
